When deciding what to do with her public relations degree, Leinneweber thought it would be a good idea to franchise a restaurant. So, along with her father, Cole Leinneweber, and family friend Mark Parmerlee, Lexi is sharing the food she loved in college with the community she grew up with by opening a Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe location in New Braunfels.
“I grew up here, my dad’s business is here and Mark’s business is here,” Lexi said. “When my dad asked what I was going to do [after college], I was like, ‘What about a Taziki’s franchise?’ He said OK, and now I get to be involved in the community and bring Mediterranean food to the community. I thought it would be a great fit … the community of New Braunfels is a really special place.”
